Our President
ACP was started in 1977 by Harold Dills, a native of North Carolina. He
was introduced to the industry in 1958 by his father-in-law, and completed
the apprenticeship program, winning the award for outstanding apprentice. He
worked in all facets of the sheet metal industry for almost twenty years
before starting ACP.
Although running a company is more than a full time job, Harold’s
philosophy has always included giving back to the industry and his
community. He has served as President of the National Environmental
Balancing Bureau, and served on the Board of Directors for SMACNA, Sheet
Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association. In 2002, he was
inducted into the College of Fellows, the highest honor given in this
industry. He is currently active on several of the industry’s national
committees. Harold is active in his church and community, serving on
building committees and maintaining membership in local and state chambers
of commerce.
Our Employees
ACP Sheet Metal employs talented, experienced managers and draftsmen to
insure the timely completion of a quality product. Each of our project
managers has at least fifteen years experience in the sheet metal industry.
Managers, draftsmen and foremen will likely have completed additional
education in specialized fields, such as air balancing, CAD and project
management training. These key employees follow the vision set out by Mr.
Dills: Quality, integrity and customer satisfaction are the goals.
ACP employs union labor, and has a contract with the Sheet Metal Workers
Union, Local 124.
